Capper Marketing Inc is a company registered in the British Virgin Islands.[632] Between 2006 and 2017, Arzu Aliyeva was a shareholder.[472] [473]

In 2006, the company acquired a 101-square-meter penthouse in The Knightsbridge,[519] [521] [657] a luxury apartment building in West London opposite Hyde Park.[4] At the time of the purchase, Capper Marketing was owned by Fazil Mammadov,[519] [521] a former Azerbaijani tax ministry official.[520] Shares in the company were then transferred to Arzu Aliyeva before being transferred to an Aliyev family trust in the Isle of Man.[519] [521] [520]

The company’s “care of” address on property records was given as Raymond Saul & Co.,[657] a law firm registered in the UK and linked to several companies registered in the British Virgin Islands that acquired high-value properties in London on behalf of members of the Aliyev family and their business associates.[448]

In February 2023, the beneficial owners of Capper Marketing—declared on UK company records—included Hollyberry Trustee Limited, an Isle of Man trust company that owned more than 25%,[632] and Mir Pashayev,[632] an Azerbaijani with the same month and year of birth as Mir Jamal Pashayev,[730] a cousin of Azerbaijan’s first lady, Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva.[595]
