Conex Real Estate is a South Sudan-based company reportedly in the real estate industry. Lucas Demisay Nardos Gebeyehu, grandchild of President Salva Kiir, was a 50% shareholder as of November 3, 2015, and Adut Salva Kiir Mayardit, Kiir’s daughter, held a 50% share until November 3, 2015.[80]
In a 2019 response to The Sentry’s report “The Taking of South Sudan,” the Office of the President said that Lucas Demisay Nardos was a 50% shareholder in Conex Real Estate and that the company was active.[214]
