Exaltation Limited was a company registered in the British Virgin Islands.[706] [847] Leyla and Arzu Aliyeva were the directors and shareholders.[706] Child & Child, a London law firm, acquired the company for them from Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca, who set it up.[664] [663]
Between 2015 and 2016, Child & Child used Exaltation Limited to facilitate a 60 million GBP property deal in London on behalf of Leyla and Arzu Aliyeva.[664] [570] [461] The deal fell apart after it was exposed as part of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists’ Panama Papers, a leak of information from Mossack Fonseca.[664] [570] [461]
Exaltation was struck of the register in November 2016.[847]
