Gesoro Limited

Gesoro Limited is a company registered in the British Virgin Islands.[637]

In 2007, it acquired an apartment in The Knightsbridge, a luxury apartment block in West London, that was subsequently valued at 13.75 million GBP ($16.94 million).[658] [1066] At acquisition, the company’s “care of” address on property records was given as Raymond Saul & Co,[658] a law firm registered in the UK and linked to several companies registered in the British Virgin Islands that acquired high-value properties in London on behalf of members of the Aliyev family and their business associates.[448]

Mir Jamal Pashayev, a cousin of Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, has been a beneficial owner of Gesoro Limited since 2017. Hollyberry Trustee, a trust company registered in the Isle of Man, was listed as a beneficial owner in 2021.[637] [172] Hollyberry Trustee is closely linked to several offshore companies that have been used to purchase property in London on behalf of members of Azerbaijan’s ruling Aliyev family, including Leyla and Arzu Aliyeva.[448]
