Meta International Trading Co. Ltd is a South Sudan-based company. Manut Salva Kiir, son of President Salva Kiir, was an 89% shareholder in Meta International Trading Co. Ltd as of May 31, 2012.[21]
In a 2019 response to The Sentry’s report “The Taking of South Sudan,” the Office of the President said that Manut Salva Kiir Mayardit was a 89% shareholder in Meta International and that the company was not active.[214]
