Roundtree Ventures Ltd was a company registered in the British Virgin Islands.[854] It was owned by Leyla and Arzu Aliyeva and Tale and Nijat Heydarov, the sons of Azerbaijan’s Emergency Situations Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov, according to the records of Malta’s Pilatus Bank, which was shuttered in 2018 over systemic failures to comply with anti-money laundering regulations.[587] [11] Investigators found an unsigned statement from Leyla and Arzu Aliyeva about their involvement in the company.[11]
In June 2014, Roundtree Ventures sold Olympia House on Armitage Road, a commercial office block in Golders Green in northwest London.[341] [356] [357] [719] The sale price was 3.8 million GBP ($6.38 million).[11] [972] From that sale, Picasso Holdings Limited and Davinci Holdings Limited, two companies registered in the UAE, each received 875,000 GBP ($1.4 million).[11] [972]
Roundtree Ventures was struck off the register in April 2016.[854]
