Totem Group LLC

Totem Group LLC is a Russian retail company with an alcohol sales license.[470] Its shareholders are Azerbaijan registered companies Atlantik Aeronautik Holding Limited (99%) and Foton LLC (1%).[346]

Totem Group is a shareholder of two Russian companies linked to Leyla Aliyeva: Ogni Baku LLC, which runs an Azerbaijani restaurant in Moscow by the same name,[601] [482] [762] and Media Land LLC, the Russian publisher of Baku,[760] a culture and lifestyle magazine edited by Leyla Aliyeva.[761]

Totem Group’s registered office is 42 Arbat Street, Building 1,[346] a worn-out building west of the Kremlin that the company was renovating in 2019.[772] [482] The building is also the registered office of Ogni Baku LLC.[347] [817] [762] [188] [760] [761] The building is leased to Atlantik Aeronautik Holding Limited,[817] which is also closely linked to Leyla Aliyeva.[784] [785] [188] [760] [761]
Until July 2023, Media Land’s director was Vladimir Aliyevich Mamedov who used to own Vestnik Kavkaza LLC, a media company linked to Leyla Aliyeva.[751] [350] [187]

The sole shareholder of Media Land is Totem Group LLC, a Russian company.[188] Totem Group, in turn, is owned by two companies with addresses in Azerbaijan: Atlantik Aeronautik Holding LLC, which owns 99%, and Foton LLC, which owns 1%.[188] Between 2016 and 2019, Leyla Aliyeva was Media Land’s sole shareholder.[751] [188]
