In a 2019 response to The Sentry’s report “The Taking of South Sudan,” the Office of the President said that Anok Salva Kiir Mayardit was a 44% shareholder in Cannington Investments Ltd, and it noted that it could not verify if the company was active.[214] It also confirmed that Anok Salva Kiir Mayardit was a 20% shareholder in Euro-Afro Tade, but that it could not verify whether the company was active.[214] The response also stated that Anok Salva Kiir Mayardit was a 20% shareholder in GST Andromedia International, but that it could not verify if the company was active.[214] Finally, the response said that Anok Salva Kiir Mayardit was no longer a shareholder in Yiekarot General Trading and that the company was not active.[214]
