Cheryl Jean Vaughn is an American real estate agent.[1019] [122] In 2020, she was a 49% shareholder and director of MIRK Construction Company LLC, a company registered in Dubai as part of the MIRK group of companies.[122] Mohamed Ali Abdullah Ahmed, an Emirati citizen, held the remaining 51%.[122] The MIRK group of companies and its subsidiaries are closely connected to scores of luxury properties in Dubai owned by the children of senior Azerbaijani officials, including several owned by Leyla and Arzu Aliyeva.[341] According to her LinkedIn profile, Vaughn is the owner and director of a UAE real estate business, Essence of Arabia Real Estate, which she describes as a sister company to the MIRK group.[1019]
