Lucas Demisay Nardos Gebeyehu is the grandson of the president of South Sudan, Salva Kiir.[37] [107] He was listed as a shareholder of two South Sudan-based companies, including Yallouris Construction, as of August 11, 2014,[37] and Conex Real Estate, as of November 3, 2015.[80]
In a 2019 response to The Sentry’s report “The Taking of South Sudan,” the Office of the President said that Lucas Demisay Nardos was a 50% shareholder in Conex Real Estate and that the company was active.[214]
