Vladimir Aliyevich Mamedov is a former director of Media Land LLC, a company registered in Moscow, Russia that publishes the culture and lifestyle magazine Baku,[188] [760] [1094] which is edited by Leyla Aliyeva.[761]
The sole shareholder of Media Land is Totem Group LLC, a Russian company.[188] Totem Group, in turn, is owned by two companies with addresses in Azerbaijan: Atlantik Aeronautik Holding LLC, which owns 99%, and Foton LLC, which owns 1%.[188] Between 2014 and 2019, Leyla Aliyeva was Media Land’s sole shareholder.[1332] [188]
Mamedov is also a former shareholder of Vestnik Kavkaza, a media company linked to Leyla Aliyeva.[1335] [1334] [341] [350]
