Yiekarot General Trading Co is a South Sudan-based company that reportedly works in trade . Anok Salva Kiir Mayardit, daughter of President Salva Kiir, and Mayar Salva Kiir Mayardit, Kiir’s son, were both 23% shareholders in Yiekarot General Trading Co until August 6, 2015.[4]
In a 2019 response to The Sentry’s report “The Taking of South Sudan,” the Office of the President said that Anok and Mayar Salva Kiir Mayardit were no longer shareholders and that the company was not active.[214]
