Sergey Barannikov was a shareholder and the sole director of Crovelent Holdings Ltd., a company registered in the British Virgin Islands.[709] [710] In 2008, the company had eight shareholders, including Leyla Aliyeva and two companies registered in the British Virgin Islands: Andersen Alliance Limited and Starwood Systems.[710] The other four shareholders provided registered addresses in Moscow: Valery Khokhlov, Dmitriy Kokovin, Sergey Gromak, and Dmitriy Korobov.[710] Crovelent Holdings was struck off the register in 2009.[709]
Kokovin, Korobov, and Khokhlov were shareholders of Rodnye Prostory, a Russian construction company owned by Crovelent Holdings and liquidated by Korobov.[328] Khokhlov was also director of another Russian company owned by Crovelent Holdings, IG Resource.[327]
